Temp Nanny for 2 weeks - Carmel Valley, San Diego

Family in Carmel Valley seeks a temporary part-time nanny for weeks of August 18th - 22nd and 25th - 29th. They have a 2.5 year old girl with mild Autism, her preschool is out of session for these 2 weeks so they are seeking coverage for this time. They try to parent with a “yes” environment, using a lot of redirection and positive reinforcement. Their ideal nanny is patient, kind, sweet, and safety conscious.

Location:

Carmel Valley, San Diego, CA

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 9am - 12pm for the weeks of August 18th - 22nd and 25th - 29th

Rate:

$30 per hour

Children:

Girl, 2.5 - Diagnosed with mild Autism. She is super sweet and gentle, but also has a lot of energy and never stops moving! She really likes music, has a little play kitchen, likes books and reading, any pretend play, and sensory activities.

Pets in the home:

1 dog

Responsibilities:

Engage her in fun and developmentally appropriate activities, prepare and feed a snack, diaper changes as needed, walk to nearby park for more play time.

Requirements:

3+ years of professional childcare experience

Experience with the preschool age group and comfortable with a very active little one

Very safety conscious, patient, and playful

Infant/Child CPR certified and Trustline Registered

Able to work legally in the US
