Part-Time to Full-Time Nanny - Carmel Valley, San Diego, CA
Family in Carmel Valley is seeking a part-time nanny/family assistant to start as soon as possible, with the opportunity to turn into a full-time position in March. They are also open to hiring one person short term, part-time from now until March and then a different person to start long-term, full time in March. They have two girls ages 4 and 2, and a baby on the way (full-time position would coincide with baby’s birth in March). Both girls are in school Monday - Friday. Mom works from home and Dad works outside of the home.
The family describes themselves as close knit, they value education and screen free activities. They speak to the kids like they are grown ups and want them to participate in things like cooking and chores, have good manners, and learn to be capable and independent. Their ideal nanny is proactive, engaging, flexible, warm, and nurturing while holding firm boundaries.
For the full-time position they would love to find a match who can stay with them for the next 2-3 years. They require some previous experience with infants, but are very open to someone who doesn’t have a lot of experience and is eager to learn.
