Part-Time to Full-Time Nanny - San Diego, CA 92127
First time parents are seeking a loving, patient, proactive nanny for their sweet 3 month old girl! Both parents work mostly from home and travel on occasion for their jobs. As first time parents their ideal nanny will have a lot of experience with newborns/infants and strong knowledge of child development. They would like someone to be a member of their parenting team, someone who can take charge and make decisions, while always deferring to the parents as the ultimate authority on their child. Baby is on formula, they are following a schedule for feedings and working on extending her wake windows.
Their goal is to be easy going when they can, prioritizing safety, development, giving her all the love! Ideally they would like to find a long term nanny who can start out part time for a few months and then transition to full time.
Location:

Schedule:
Part time for the first several months, 20-25 hours per week. Flexible on the exact hours.
Transition to full time, 8am - 4pm type schedule.
Rate:
$25-$32 per hour DOE, paid on payroll

1 dog. Ideal nanny is open to taking the dog when out on a stroller walk with baby.
Responsibilities:
All typical infant care duties such as feeding bottles, diapering, following her nap schedule. Engaging her in developmentally appropriate activities and working on milestones. Taking her on walks in the neighborhood, open to more outings as she gets older. Child related cleaning such as washing her bottles, laundry, high chair, toys, etc. Ideal candidate is open to some general tidying of the home, meal preparation, and errands on occasion.
Requirements:
3+ years of professional childcare experience, must have experience with infants as young as 3 months
Strong knowledge of child development and milestones for baby’s first year
Infant/Child CPR certified
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Self-motivated, proactive, warm and engaging
Trustline Registered or willing to register
Able to work legally in the US
