Part-Time Nanny (with option to transition to Full-Time) - San Diego, CA
First time parents in University Heights are seeking a part time nanny for their 3 month old daughter! Their need is for 20 hours per week from late November 2025 - March 2026. In April 2026 both parents will be fully back to work and their needs will change to full time, 40 hours per week. Both parents work a hybrid schedule of in office and at home. They are open to hiring one person who can start with part time and transition to full time, or 2 separate people (one for a short term, part time role now and someone else to work full time starting in April). Baby was born almost a month early and spent a few weeks in the NICU, she is now growing nicely and very spunky! Their ideal nanny is very experienced with infants and can take the lead on teaching parents about child development. Knowledge of a Montessori approach is a bonus. Parents are doing a lot of reading about development as well and are eager to learn! They are also very warm, loving, and cuddly with baby and would like their nanny to be this way too. This position does require being up to date on all vaccines, nice-to-haves are speaking Spanish and a degree in a child related field.
