Part-Time Nanny (6 month commitment) - Poway, CA
First time parents in Poway are seeking an experienced infant nanny to partner with them for the next 6 months. Mom is a stay at home mom and Dad works hybrid in office and from home 2 days per week. Their son is 5 months old and a happy, healthy baby! Their ideal nanny has at least 2 years of experience with infants, is comfortable working alongside a stay at home parent, and will be adaptable to their parenting style as they figure things out as they go. This family does require their nanny to be up to date on vaccinations including MMR, TDAP, influenza, and COVID. Bonus if you happen to speak Vietnamese!

Schedule:
Monday - Thursday 8am - 2pm
24 hours per week guaranteed
Rate:
$30-$40 per hour DOE, paid on payroll

Responsibilities:
All typical infant care responsibilities such as bottle feeding, changing diapers, maintaining his nap schedule, developmental play and age appropriate activities, reading and singing to baby. Preparing meals for him as needed and assisting Mom with introductions to solids, washing and sanitizing bottles and feeding supplies. Light housekeeping related to baby such as his laundry, keeping his nursery organized, and keeping play areas clean and organized. Mom would like the nanny to be comfortable accompanying her and baby on errands so she can have time with him while having an extra set of hands on outings. No driving by the nanny will be required.
Requirements:
3+ years of professional childcare experience including experience with infants
Knowledgeable about child development and milestones for infants and toddlers
Patient, nurturing, and engaging
Flexible and adaptable, able to take direction
Infant/Child CPR certified
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Trustline Registered or willing to register
Able to work legally in the US
Up to date on MMR, Tdap, Flu, and Covid vaccines
Able to commit for 6 months
Vietnamese speaking is a bonus
