Part-Time Infant Nanny - Encinitas, CA

First time parents in Encinitas are seeking an experienced, long term nanny for their sweet 4 month old son! The position can start anytime between now and January 2027 so baby will be 4-6 months old at the start of the position. One parent has an immune disorder so the right nanny for this family will be up to date or willing to be on all vaccines, including Covid and Flu. Their ideal nanny is also very knowledgeable about infants and child development, has good attention to detail, is comfortable following the family protocols for health and cleanliness in the home (such as removing shoes at the door, hand washing, etc), and will be energetic and engaging with their son. They value open communication, a screen free environment, and making parenting decisions based on science and data. Bonus if you speak Spanish!

This position is strictly child focused, they do not have any expectations for housework outside of things directly related to baby.

They envision possibly sending him to a preschool/daycare setting around 18 months so looking for at least a one year commitment. They are considering having a second child so there could be an opportunity to stay on longer term and care for their second child as well.
