Part-Time Nanny (25-30 hours) - Carmel Valley, San Diego
Family of 4 in the Carmel Valley neighborhood of San Diego is seeking a patient, adaptable nanny with experience working with kids on the Autism spectrum. They have 2 kids, boy age 4 who is neurotypical and boy age 10 who is Autistic with moderate-high support needs. They follow a neuroaffirming approach, but have also utilized ABA therapy in the past. Their ideal candidate can respond to behavioral issues in a positive way and recognize that all behavior is communication. Dad typically works from home and Mom is mostly stay-at-home working with the nanny to tag team care of the kids and transporting them around to their activities.
They are hoping to find someone with flexibility to work more full-time hours this summer and then transition to 25-30 hours per week when the kids go back to school in August. They would love to find a great match to stay with them long term!
