Part-Time Infant Nanny/Nanny Share - Carmel Valley, San Diego
First time parents in Carmel Valley are seeking a part-time nanny for their 10 month old son and on some days to include their 7 month old niece. Mom stays at home and Dad travels a lot for work, they are seeking some additional support so Mom can go to the gym, run errands, and get things done around the house. This family splits their time between San Diego and Florida, so they are seeking a nanny who can start as soon as possible and commit through the end of October 2026 when they will return to Florida for a few months. Their ideal candidate is highly experienced with infants (ideally twins or nanny share experience as well), is energetic and engaging, and will be adaptable to their parenting style as they figure things out over time.
Location:
Carmel Valley, San Diego, CA
Schedule:
2 days per week, desired days are Monday and Wednesday from 10am - 2pm or 3pm (8-10 hours per week)
This position is short term through October 2026 when the family will return to their other home in Florida. They will go back and forth throughout the year and are open to short term commitments or finding someone who can work with them long term whenever they are in San Diego.
Rate:
$35-$40 per hour for one baby and $60-$80 per hour for 2 babies. Open to paying on payroll.

Responsibilities:
All standard infant care such as changing diapers, bottle feeding, following their nap schedule, and engaging in developmental play and activities. Family prefers care to take place mainly at their home for now. If time permits during naps some help with washing baby bottles/dishes and baby laundry. This is a childcare focused role.
Requirements:
3+ years of professional childcare experience with infants
Patient, nurturing, and engaging
Experience caring for two babies at the same time preferred
Infant/Child CPR certified
Trustline Registered or willing to register
Able to work legally in the US
Able to commit to the schedule from now through the end of October
Experience working in high profile homes preferred
