Part-Time Housekeeper/Family Assistant - Del Mar, CA
Family in Del Mar is seeking a proactive, positive housekeeper/family assistant to support their day to day needs as a family. They have one sweet 3 year old boy and both parents work from home on their own businesses. The role will be housekeeping and family assistant focused with some childcare needed when parents are in work meetings. They are a health conscious, holistic family and love to be very hands on and present with their son, let him explore and experience things in a hands on way such as helping in the kitchen or sensory activities and crafts. They live in a 1300 sq. ft town home.

Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8am - 3pm
21 hours per week guaranteed
Rate:
$40+ per hour DOE, paid on payroll

Children in the home:
Boy, 3 - He is a sweet and sensitive kid, can be shy, but also outgoing. He loves trucks and playing at the playground. He is a little delayed in his speech and potty training, he is in speech therapy once a week.
Pets in the home:
None, but they would like to get a dog or cat in the near future so their ideal nanny is pet friendly
Responsibilities:
Both parents usually have work meetings in the morning so they would like some help with entertaining and engaging their son in the mornings. When parents are finished with their work meetings duties would be housekeeping and assistant focused. Full housekeeping responsibilities such as vacuuming and mopping floors, dusting surfaces, and cleaning bathrooms once a week. Daily maintenance of tidying and organizing, cleaning the kitchen, dishes. Family assistant tasks such as grocery shopping, meal prepping, and other errands.
Requirements:
5+ years of professional experience in domestic roles such as housekeeping or nannying
Previous experience in a family assistant role involving both childcare and household help is preferred
Infant/Child CPR certified
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Self-motivated, proactive, warm and engaging
Trustline Registered or willing to register
Able to work legally in the US
Bonus if you speak Spanish
