Part-Time Nanny/Family Assistant - Del Mar, CA
Dual working parents in Del Mar are seeking part-time help with their 2 kids and keeping the household running smoothly. Dad works full time outside of the home and Mom is currently on maternity leave, she will be going back to work in February and will possibly be working hybrid in and out of the home. They are looking for someone who is comfortable with switching off between childcare and household tasks as Mom will often be home with the nanny working together. The describe themselves as gentle, but authoritative parents. They validate emotions while holding strong boundaries.

Del Mar, CA
Schedule:
20 hours per week, open to something like Monday - Friday 3pm - 7pm or 4pm - 8pm.
Rate:
$25 - $35 per hour DOE
Benefits:
Guaranteed hours, paid sick days accrued as by law. Open to offering PTO, paid holidays for a long term commitment.

Girl, 6 - She is very artistic, would love to do arts and crafts with the nanny! She is bubbly and energetic, is in kindergarten.

Responsibilities:
Assist Mom with both kids in the after school/daycare hours, potentially pick them up and bring them home depending on Mom’s work schedule. Helping the household with tasks such as laundry, dishes, meal prep, and general tidying. The nanny will likely work alongside Mom to balance childcare and household chores. It will be a big transition for them with Mom going back to work full time and having 2 kids now so they are needing someone who is willing to provide general family support with whatever is needed!
Requirements:
3+ years of professional childcare experience
Previous experience with infants and young school aged children
Patient, caring, a calming presence
Flexible and willing to pitch in with a variety of tasks
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Infant/Child CPR Certified
Trustline Registered or willing to register
Able to work legally in the US
