Overnight Newborn Nanny - Chula Vista, CA

Returning La Petite family is seeking an overnight nanny for their second child due in January! Mom and Dad are business owners and work from home, they will both be on parental leave for the first 2-3 months after baby is born. When their first child was born they really struggled with the lack of sleep so they have decided to invest in night time support this time around. Baby is due around January 10th so they are estimating a start date of January 25th for the nanny.

Mom is planning to breastfeed and pump. With their first child they implemented some sleep training around 6 months old and plan to do the same this time.

Location:

Chula Vista, CA

Schedule:

Monday - Thursday 11pm - 7am

Ideally they would like 8 hours per night, but are open to more hours

Rate:

$40-$45 per hour DOE

Start Date:

Around January 25th, 2027

Children:

Overnight nanny will be strictly responsible for newborn care, family has a 2.5 year old as well

Pets in the home:

2 small dogs

Responsibilities:

All typical overnight newborn care duties such as feeding bottles, changing diapers, and soothing baby back to sleep. Help with washing bottles and potentially some baby laundry would be appreciated. They will plan for baby to seep in her nursery, they do have a guest room where the nanny can sleep and use the baby monitor. Open to suggestions on the best set up for all of this.

Requirements:

2+ years of professional experience caring for newborns, including overnight care

Infant/Child CPR Certified

Up to date on vaccines for Tdap, Covid, Flu, and RSV

Trustline Registered or willing to register

Able to work legally in the US
