Live-In or Live-Out Full-Time Nanny/Family Assistant - Rancho Santa Fe, CA

Fun, active family in Rancho Santa Fe is seeking a live-in or live-out nanny/family assistant to help their family thrive. They have boy/girl twins who are 7 years old and a baby boy 6 months old. Their ideal candidate is flexible, proactive, hard working, creative, fun, energetic, and positive. The role requires flexibility to pitch in where needed, whether that’s driving the big kids to their extracurricular activities, working on milestones with baby, running errands, or doing an organizational project in playroom. Must be willing to travel with the family several times a year, both domestically and internationally.

They will provide separate living quarters for a live-in nanny in a guesthouse on their property.

Rancho Santa Fe, CA

Schedule:

Exact schedule TBD between family and nanny, they do request flexibility to work some weekends and to travel with them several times a year. Typical schedule will be 40 hours per week, 40 hours will be guaranteed.

Example schedule based on their current needs:1pm - 9pm or 2pm -10pm, 5 days per week. This could include weekends as needed.

The schedule will evolve over time as the kids grow and the family’s needs change.

Rate:

$30-$35 per hour DOE, paid on payroll.

The twins are very active and love jumping on the trampoline, playing sports, creating scavenger hunts, and doing fun art projects.

Responsibilities:

Typical responsibilities related to the kids such as transporting to and from school and extracurriculars, preparing meals and snacks, homework help, engaging in age appropriate fun and educational activities. Care for the baby when needed including feeding, diapering, following his schedule for naps, engaging with him and working on milestones. Family assistant tasks such as running errands, meal prep, organizing, etc. They have a full time housekeeper so no cleaning will be asked of the nanny.

Requirements:

3+ years of professional childcare experience

Experience with infants, toddlers, and school aged kids, bonus if you have experience with a child with medical needs

Proactive, patient, active, flexible, and extremely reliable

Able to make a long term commitment (3+ years)

Able to travel with the family several times per year

Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record

Infant/Child CPR Certified

Trustline registered or willing to register

Able to work legally in the US
