Full-Time Nanny, Short Term - San Diego, CA 92128

First time Mom is seeking a caring, experienced, dependable nanny for her 7 month old son as she heads back to work! Mom works from home on East Coast hours and is breastfeeding, baby takes a bottle as well. He is a happy, curious boy in need of a nurturing nanny who will be attentive, engaging, and safety conscious. Mom is looking for a short term commitment of a few months to start, with potential to become a long term position. Must be up to date on vaccinations.

Location:

San Diego, CA 92128

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm

Rate:

$30-$32 per hour DOE

Start Date:

Ideally March 9th or ASAP

Responsibilities:

All typical infant care duties such as feeding bottles, diapering, putting down for naps, feeding some solids (Mom will also be home to breastfeed). Engaging baby in developmentally appropriate activities and working on milestones, taking him on walks in the neighborhood. Light housekeeping related to the baby such as washing his bottles and dishes, keeping his areas tidy, and baby laundry. No driving required, but if it were to become a long term position there is potential for driving in the future.

Requirements:

3+ years of professional childcare experience, must have prior experience with infants

Strong knowledge of child development and a passion for working with children

Calm, nurturing, dependable, and punctual

Infant/Child CPR certified

Trustline Registered or willing to register

Able to work legally in the US
