Full-Time Nanny - Pacific Highlands Ranch, San Diego, CA

Dual physician household is seeking a reliable, engaging nanny to mainly care for their sweet 8 month old boy! They have two older boys ages 5 and 8 who are in school, as well as an Au Pair whose main responsibility is caring for the older boys before and after school. With the parents often working 12+ hour days at the hospital they have found that having multiple caregivers on their household team is very important! Their ideal nanny is super punctual, brings a positive energy, and is very safety conscious. Responsibilities:

The nanny’s main responsibility is care for the 8 month old boy. All typical infant care including feeding bottles and solids, diapering, putting him down for naps. Engaging him in developmentally appropriate activities to help him reach his milestones. Taking him on outings to the park, beach, library, etc., the parents encourage getting out of the house. Helping with baby related household tasks such as washing his bottles and laundry, keeping baby’s room and play areas tidy. As physicians, the parents’ main concern is safety - they would rather have the house be a mess, but their kids are safe!

They have an Au Pair who cares for the older boys on a split schedule, before and after school. The nanny must be comfortable caring for all 3 kids on occasion such as the Au Pair is sick or taking her vacation, or when the kids are out of school and the day might be split between nanny and Au Pair each taking a turn with all 3 kids.

With the parents’ schedules, there may be some weekdays when they are off work and want to spend time with the kids. On these days they would ask the nanny to help with some other tasks such as grocery shopping or other errands, organizing toys, etc.
