Full-Time Nanny, Live-In or Live-Out - La Jolla, CA

Busy family in the Bird Rock neighborhood of La Jolla is seeking a live-in or live-out nanny to support a SAHM and help keep the household running smoothly. They have 3 wonderful girls ages 5, 4, and 2. This is a long term role, they would love to find a great fit who will stay for the next 5+ years! Ideal candidate is warm, patient, has strong knowledge of child development, and is a proactive go-getter.

Live-in nanny will have room and board provided.

La Jolla, CA

Schedule:

Exact schedule TBD between the nanny and family, typically a Monday - Friday schedule with some flexibility for date nights and weekends as needed.

Rate:

$30-$35 per hour DOE, paid on payroll

Benefits:

Guaranteed hours, paid vacation, paid sick days and holidays.

Children in the home:

Girl, 5 - Attends kindergarten

Girl, 4 - Attends preschool 5 days per week

Girl, 2 - At home with Mom

Pets in the home:

None. Family might get a dog at some point.

Responsibilities:

Assist Mom with the morning routine, getting the girls up and ready for school, packing lunches, etc. Engage the 2 year old in developmentally appropriate activities, prepare snacks and lunch for her, take her on local outings. Depending on the schedule, assisting with after school pick ups and routine. Please be willing to assist in household support tasks as well such as the children’s laundry, running errands, organizing children’s rooms and play areas, etc.

Requirements:

3+ years of professional childcare experience, ideally experienced with ages 2-5 and working with a family with 3 children

Infant/Child CPR certified

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Self-motivated, proactive, and able to keep up with a busy household!

Trustline Registered or willing to register

Able to work legally in the US
