Full-Time Nanny - Carmel Mountain Ranch, San Diego

Single mom in the Carmel Mountain Ranch neighborhood is seeking a professional, energetic nanny who can be her true partner! She has 2 kids ages 4 and 1, and a baby on the way due in September. As a busy entrepreneur she is juggling a lot and needs a nanny who will be very reliable and proactive. They are an active family, eat organic, and don’t allow any screen time - their ideal nanny will be super engaging, playful, and creative, and be able to prepare healthy meals for the kids. Must love dogs as they have a large, black lab mix. This is a long term position, minimum of one year commitment required.

Location:

Carmel Mountain Ranch, San Diego, CA

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 12pm - 9pm, flexibility to stay late on occasion

Rate:

$30-$40 per hour DOE, can pay on payroll

Responsibilities:

All typical childcare duties such as diapering, preparing meals and snacks, engaging with them in developmentally appropriate fun and educational activities. Follow their daily schedules for meals and nap times, plan fun activities and outings (nanny can drive them to activities after a few months of building trust, can start with walking to the nearby park). When the new baby is born, assisting Mom with infant care and eventually will take over care of all 3 kids. Household responsibilities such as cleaning up after yourself and the kids, keeping their play areas and rooms organized and tidy, and doing kids’ laundry. As a busy, single parent Mom would appreciate someone who is proactive and willing to pitch in with things like loading/unloading the dishwasher, taking out trash if full, general tidying, etc.

Requirements:

3+ years of professional childcare experience, must have prior experience with infants and toddlers

Strong knowledge of child development and a passion for working with children

Nurturing, creative, and energetic

Infant/Child CPR certified

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Trustline Registered or willing to register

Able to work legally in the US

Willing to travel with the family is a bonus, Mom has opportunities to travel for work on occasion and would love to be able to take everyone with!
