Full-Time Infant Nanny - Del Mar, CA
Dual working parents in Del Mar are seeking an experienced nanny for their 3 month old and 6 year old. Dad works full time outside of the home and travels fairly regularly, Mom is currently on maternity leave and will be going back to work (working from home) in February. They describe themselves as gentle, but authoritative parents, they validate emotions while holding strong boundaries. The main focus of the nanny however will be loving on and caring for baby, and helping her meet her milestones! They would like to find someone who can support them for at least 1.5 years.
Location:
Del Mar, CA
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm, 40 hours per week guaranteed
Ideal candidate is open to staying later 1-2 days per week when Dad is traveling
Rate:
$30 - $35 per hour DOE, paid on payroll, overtime as applicable

Girl, 6 - She is very artistic, would love to do arts and crafts with the nanny! She is bubbly and energetic, is in kindergarten during the day.

Responsibilities:
Standard infant care such as diapering, feeding bottles, tummy time, following her schedule for feeding and nap times. Engaging baby in developmentally appropriate activities to encourage development, reading and singing to her, taking her on walks and local outings. Potential need for help with school pick up for 6 year old and some after school care for her. Household tasks related to the children such as laundry, dishes, and keeping their rooms and play areas organized and tidy. Ideal candidate would be open to helping with all family laundry and some meal prep. It will be a big transition for them with Mom going back to work full time and having 2 kids now so they would like someone who is willing to provide general family support with whatever is needed.
Requirements:
3+ years of professional childcare experience, must include at least 2 years of experience with infants
Patient, caring, a calming presence
Flexible and willing to pitch in with a variety of tasks
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Infant/Child CPR Certified
Up to date on vaccines is strongly preferred
Trustline Registered or willing to register
Able to work legally in the US
